The firm’s senior staff has over 100 years of combined
experience in performing the full range of RCRA Part
B
related tasks. The senior staff has experience in
designing and completing the preparation of Part B
permit applications in addition to the development and
performance of work tasks to complete RCRA Facility
Investigation (RFI) and Corrective Measures Study
(CMS) tasks.
Duncklee & Dunham personnel completed the work
required to file an application for and to receive the
first Hazardous Waste Management Permit in North
Carolina in 1986. In addition, Mr. Duncklee, Mr.
Dunham, and Dr. Trexler have abundant field experience
in completing RCRA assessments. Ms. Olszewski adds
her 13 years of RCRA experience at the DENR-HWS to the
senior staff.
Duncklee & Dunham possesses the expertise to prepare
and implement closure plans or post-closure plans for
hazardous waste management units. In addition, the
senior staff has the proven ability to complete
complex hydrogeologic investigations in fractured
bedrock, saprolite, karst (limestone), and coastal
plain sedimentary formations.
Another key to managing through the RCRA process is
the ability to negotiate compromises and agreements
with implementing agencies. With their years of
experience as both consultants and regulators, the
senior staff has developed one-on-one experience with
most of the NC DENR - Hazardous Waste Section staff
and management.
