RODAK ENGINEERING, P.C.
was created in 2005 to offer high quality and
innovative environmental and civil engineering
services. The firm is an independent and privately
held licensed engineering and geological corporation
with projects performed across the Southeast. Based
in Cary, the firm is affiliated with Duncklee and
Dunham, P.C. a licensed geological corporation. We
offer a wide-ranging scope of engineering and
environmental services to industry, government
agencies, military installations, real estate, lending
institutions, and law firms.
The
company was founded by Mr. Andrew Rodak, a registered
engineer in North Carolina, Virginia, Maine, New
Hampshire, and Georgia; Mr. David Duncklee, a licensed
or professional geologist in North Carolina, Delaware,
and Georgia; and Mr. Tom Dunham, a licensed or
professional geologist in North Carolina, Kentucky,
Delaware, and Tennessee.
Mr. Rodak
has over 16 years in the civil and environmental
engineering fields. His experience includes working
in both industry and consulting. He was a Corporate
Environmental Manager at a medium-sized
telecommunications manufacturer with five facilities
in North Carolina. In that capacity, he was
responsible for maintaining company compliance with
air, wastewater, stormwater, and hazardous waste
regulations, as well as performing industrial
engineering duties that included design of upgrades to
the facility’s wastewater treatment and metal
finishing (electroplating and iron phosphating)
processes. He has also worked for small and large
consulting firms at the Project and Senior Engineer
levels on a variety of projects, including the
patented design of a metals recovery process from an
industrial wastewater stream, and the design of an air
pollution control system to remove toxic air
pollutants from a chemical vapor deposition process.

extraction, thermal treatment, ozonation, and pump
and treat with aeration, granular activated carbon,
stripping towers, and ion exchange;

High Density commercial and residential properties,
permit support for stormwater discharges associated
with industrial and construction activities,

from industrial and construction activities;

systems in support of Brownfields development and
compliance assistance (i.e. Standard 62) with
Brownfields Agreements;

facilities, dispersion modeling for Toxic Air
Pollutants, MACT and BACT assistance for Title V
facilities, preparation of annual emission
inventories, air pollution control device design;

Wastewater permit support for NPDES discharges, including design of
wastewater pretreatment systems, industrial permit
application preparation, wastewater monitoring;

HEALTH AND SAFETY
rodak engineering uses the most recently-ESTABLISHED
health
and safety procedures to protect our employees and
clients. Our health and safety plans are developed as
specified by the latest version of 29 CFR Part
1910.120. Our personnel undergo yearly physicals as a
part of an approved medical monitoring program. In
addition, these personnel have completed 40 hours of
initial hazardous waste site health and safety
training plus annual eight-hour updates.
INSURANCE
rodak
engineering is insured
for professional liability, errors and omissions,
general liability, automobile liability, and worker’s
compensation. Certificates of insurance are provided
upon request.
