Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plans
The senior staff at Duncklee & Dunham has prepared over 2,000 Oil Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans in accordance with 40 CFR 110 and 112. We have prepared SPCC plans for commercial and industrial facilities with oil-storage capacities that range from 1,500 gallons to over one million gallons.
We have prepared SPCC Plans for a major retailer with over 1,600 stores in all 50 states. The types of facilities for which we have prepared SPCC plans include bulk-petroleum distribution terminals, agricultural/chemical distributors, gasoline stations, automotive dealerships, transformer-service providers, diesel-engine manufacturers, textile manufacturers, concrete-batch plants, and utility providers.
For facilities that fall under the requirements of 40 CFR 110 through bulk storage of greater than one million gallons and proximal to sensitive environments, transfer of oil over water to and from vessels, or reportable spills of over 10,000 gallons within a five-year period, we have prepared Facility Response Plans (FRPs) that evaluate impacts to selected sensitive environments based on different release scenarios. The types of industries for which we have prepared FRPs include electric-utility providers and bulk-petroleum terminals.
