Remediation of Metals in Soil

We are currently overseeing a large-scale soil blending operation in the coastal plain of North Carolina to stabilize metals in soil. The work scope consists of blending 80 tons of reagent into soil to a depth of 22 feet below grade. The details of the remedial design for this portion of the project were derived from an extensive treatability study that calculated effective dosage rates for the reagent using site soil and identified select areas that required remediation based on the natural attenuation capacity of underlying soil.
