Tribute to Dr. Bryson Trexler, Jr., PG

Dr. Bryson Trexler, 68, passed away April 29,2016. Bryson was passionate about his work, his family, his faith, and love for the community. Bryson’s love for preserving the earth has affected many, from teaching Earth Sciences at East Carolina University, to leading Boy Scout Troop #204, and his countless projects while at Duncklee & Dunham. He was mentor and friend to many of us, and has had a powerful impact on our careers. Bryson always strove to live life to the fullest, and to experience the richness of the Human Experience. We mourn his passing, but we celebrate the way he lived his life. Bryson is survived by his daughter Elizabeth, his son Bryson III, his wife Sandis; his brother Charles and his wife Silvia, and their children and their grandchildren. We will miss our friend.

Bryson’s family have graciously allowed Duncklee & Dunham to preseve his extensive collection of geologic reference materials at our office library in memory of Bryson’s dedication to his profession and to the inspiration of the next generation of geologist.
